Protection of personal data and cookies
Any Internet user connecting to and using the Website, as well as any professional or natural person capable within the meaning of Articles 1123 et seq. of the French Civil Code, who visits the Website (the “User”), accepts the collection and use of his/her personal data under the conditions described below.
Galahad complies, in the collection and management of the User's personal data, with Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms, in its current version (the “Information Technology and Freedoms Law”), as well as with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the “RGPD”).
Nature of the data collected
The data collected from the User is: his/her surname, first names, e-mail address, telephone number, as well as any other data enabling the User to be identified and which the User has spontaneously communicated to Galahad, either by browsing the Website or by sending an e-mail to Galahad, whether for a request for information or to submit an application.
Recipients of data
The data collected is reserved for the exclusive use of Galahad and may not be communicated to third parties, with the exception of Galahad’s subcontractors.
The recipients of this data are Galahad’s partners and employees, as well as the sub-contractors in charge of IT security.
Processing and access to personal data
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act (“Loi Informatique et Libertés”) and the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD), the User has the right to obtain communication and, if necessary, rectification or deletion of data concerning him or her by contacting Galahad at the following e-mail address: info@galahad-legal.com.
It is specified that connection data is collected when visiting this Website, even anonymously.
This data is used to respond to Users' requests. It may also be processed for statistical and security purposes.
This processing is justified by Galahad's legitimate interests and is based on article 6.1 (f) RGPD.
The data collected is solely intended for Galahad.
The User whose data is collected may oppose the processing of their data at any time.
Personal data collected by Galahad is kept for no longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, plus any applicable statute of limitations.
In accordance with the regulations in force, each User may at any time define instructions relating to the conservation, deletion or communication of his/her personal data. They also have the right to organise what happens to their personal data after their death.
In the case of general directives concerning all personal data, these may be registered with a trusted digital third party certified by the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et de Libertés (CNIL). In the case of specific directives concerning personal data collected by Galahad, these are communicated to Galahad by any written means.
The User may modify or revoke his/her instructions at any time.
The User may also rectify or complete personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
In the event of death, and in the absence of instructions from the User, his/her heirs will be able to exercise the aforementioned rights.
The User may lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the French supervisory authority responsible for the protection of personal data.
Cookies
A cookie, or tracer, is a text file that does not allow the person concerned to be identified directly, but stores on his/her computer and/or equipment information relating to the pages consulted on the Internet, the dates and times of the consultation, the information entered and retained to prevent
subsequent entry (“Cookies”). Browsing the Website may result in the installation of Cookies on the User’s equipment.
The purpose of Cookies is to :
